Importance of number 108

108 is the most powerful number. I can try to give you answer by my favourite numerology.

108 has three numbers.

1 (one) that is belong to Lord Sun. Lord Sun is the king of all the planet. Lord Sun is the life. You must know that without Lord Sun this mother earth can never survive, I mean our material life will be finish. Lord Sun is important for our physical health. Now at the same time Lord Sun is very important for our Spiritual life as well, as Lord Sun gives us power for Spiritual knowledge, from that help we are understanding and acknowledging the important of the spiritual world, God, Demigod, Shakti, etc. So number 1 is that is why number one.

Now number 8 (eight) that is belong to Lord Saturn, the son of Lord Sun. Lord Saturn is completely different then Lord his father. He doesn't want power or doesn't give power, infect he removes the power from everyone!! Now here is the key knowledge. When I say 'remove the power' means remove the false power, excessive power, unnecessary power, which creates the pride. You must know if we get more then we deserve, we get pride and we get pride, we start ignoring everything and start the believing that, we are the best in the world and that is why we do not care to anyone, so at that stage we are missing our main path and that is devotion to God and thanks to God for everything we got. Now at this stage Lord Saturn comes and give the knowledge by 'Sade sati'.

Number 0 (zero) it has no value and that is why it is most valuable!!!! Zero is the invention of our India. Now world has accepted that zero is everything. If you want to become HERO, then you have to learn how to become ZERO first. If you might have read the story of successful person of the world, you will see that in the throughout life they live very simply, like they are common man, like zero, e.g. Bill Gates, Late Dhirubhai Ambani. Even in spiritual world Supreme Lord Harikrishna is the most simplest among all. In spite of having Goddess Lakshmi with him all the time, she is not standing with him, but she is serving the feet of Lord Harikrishna, isn't it amazing, and if your see the great devotee of Lord Hari, Shri Naradmuni is also simplest among all devotee. You might guess, 'WHY?' because they know the real meaning of ZERO.

And Last but not least, if you total 108 (1+0+8) it will become 9 (nine) the number of Lord Mars. Lord Mars is the power, energy, in our body, blood health is responsible to Lord Mars, and I am sure you know the important of the blood in our body. As a numerology if you take nine with any number, the another number will not lose it's value. e.g. 9+6=15 and 1+5=6!!! Here I have added 6 with 9 and new number came up 15, if you add 1+5, it will become 6.

Conclusion: 108 helps us to become like 9, we have to live like 9. That is the reason Veda says to chant the name of our Great Lord Hari with 108 mala (beads).
